We could get into the weeds with "integral" and "treated" FR clothing. And
laundering regimes of such. Kid's PJs are either or, by law. I just wear
other clothing underneath it, The worst is Nomex firefighter gear, the
yellow shirts. Just don't let it touch your skin.

After 8 years as aircrew in the Marine Corps, we wore FR flight suits
daily. While there are those that might say I'm a little off :) no medical
issues nor I'm I on any meds. Only time will tell.

Yes I agree.
I suppose my I started questioning this when I was just working at a US embassy
on a array and everyone in the worker sections were wearing FR gear. Which
would be 5 days a week all year, regardless of what they are doing which is
very rarely doing any actual work on live
