Jay, I just had an FM80 fail in a FP1, less than a year old. Called 6:30 AM and waited 20-30 minutes for help. I had checked voltage in at the FM's terminals...good, disconnected from terminals and shorted one string of 3 PVs (low light) and got the correct amps. Display was on

Last month Outback told me that they could supply a replacement FX3624 control board, but it would be $400, and to go through a distributor for a better price. AltE Direct had one for $200, and the transplant was successful. Also, the board was drop shipped from Bellingham, Washington, AltE did not
