Hi Wrenches, We now have the ability to provide frequency based power curtailment. If you are AC Coupling with a battery-based inverter that can fluctuate frequency to regulate charge on the battery, then we can ramp our output up and down to regulate the charge more evenly. If you have an

Hi JayThat is exactly how the system works. Output from the micros is variable up to 240VacAt low power the voltage is down below a hundred Vac. I just installed a full power version at my house and am still assessing the efficiency. If they work as good as their marketing literature sta

Does anyone know how they actually operate? I”m thinking they are using a variable AC voltage output from the micros to operate at MPP matching the resistance of the heating element? IE more PV watts, higher AC voltage, more load. Lower PV watts, lower AC voltage, less load? Thanks, jay Pel

DAVE: How does the brute force OFF transitions of the 8K of Enphase AC-coupled micro-inverters affect the AC loads being served by the Sonnen? Are there any noticeable/measurable glitches in the Sonnen's distributed AC? I am assuming the Enphase ON transitions are more graceful because of th

Chris, FYI, I believe the BP SX modules are under a full recall due to a class action suit. Not positive but it may be worth looking into... Howie Michaelson NABCEP Certified Solar PV Installer™ Sun Catcher, LLC Solar Energy Systems Sales and Service VT Solar Electric Incentive Partner 802-272-000

Hi all, I haven't had any experience with these AC modules, just one go around with the LG AC modules, that was a rough one. Speaking of old modules, I am going to repost my BP request, not sure where it landed; I have an old client in need of a minimum of two of the BP SX 170B's, they were crushe

I installed one SunBandit solar hot water system about 1.5 years ago and the client is still thrilled with the performance. It is a well-constructed system. My only consideration is it arrives in one very heavy crate that is a monster to handle & uncrate. The tank is a beast, very heavy to move

Wrenches, 6 years ago we put in a few systems using AC modules from BenQ AUO called AC unison. That product looks like it has been discontinued. Does anybody know if there is any support for these AC Modules and their monitoring device? My on line search turned up very little. Thanks, Dave Pal

Hi Folks!! Wanted to collect any feed back from anyone who has used the SunBandit Solar hot water systems. Working well? Not working well? I just installed a system on my home and of course the winter sun is scarce so it may be a while before I get to fully asses its capabilities. I am thinkin
