almost but mine works fine. I use an Egauge which has 4 voltage inputs and 15 current inputs. I go to sites and set up a recording that can do AC or DC voltages and currents. I use this to analyze system and commercial and residential energy & power. It can record one a 1-second basis or a

I have used the Hioki for data logging. It's a super awesome feature for a multi meter, and I agree with Rebekah that it's intuitive and easy, but it hardly replaces a serious data-logging power meter. Limitations include the following: - must leave your phone (or whatever Bluetooth device)

Always count on Rebekah to point us to cool new stuff.  That looks great, good price, Blue Tooth and  I've been in the market for a better DC clamp on meter.  It says you can look at the waveform through the Blue tooth in real time.  Have you used this?  Can you see distortions in a sinewave,

Kienan, First, my advice is be sure to have a release of liability signed by the owner before you start working on this system. Improperly treated or poorly designed Li batteries can be dangerous. A major problem with the upswing of Li batteries being imported is poorly designed and

Oh, interesting. Thanks, Dan, that makes sense. If they don't have an internal BMS, that would be very worrisome. Jay, that sounds like an intriguing idea. So if you're applying a higher voltage, how would you know if it shuts off? The chemistry is LiFePO4, which is supposed to be the safest

I did it last week and it seems to be only logged in OpticsRE not that Mate3 itself. Don’t know if the picture shows up but on the optics RE event history it will show the online user(depicted as jadesteel) and the on-site(mate3 user) on the event history. Andrew Perkins

What do you want to record? True RMS, 3 phase, Accuracy? Calibrated equipment? How long will you log? days, weeks, months? Are you looking for transients? I use to work for these guys when they were HP and they still are in Santa Rosa CA. I like their gear out of the box with full

The Hioki meter amazes me. It can measure up to 1500VDC, and bluetooth communications to a really simple to use phone app that records single or multiple channels up to 24 hrs, and exports to pdf, it's totally intuitive to use. See pg 34 in the manual.

Hi kienan, There is no guarantee that they have a BMS in them, not all lithium do. A simple test is to take them up carefully to a higher voltage, but not too high, to see if they turn off. As to info about them I’d want to know. Chemistry ( would be good to know if they are capable of

Battle Born seems somewhat similar (internal BMS) - who knows how many different labels get slapped on batteries coming out of the same factory. Their manual does say you can do series connections up to 48 Vdc. Brian > On Mar 4, 2019, at 8:50 AM, Roberto Kruse wrote: > > Hi Kienan. > > I
