I've heard this before as well, but as you found, I too have never found specific info on clearance distance.  Obviously there needs to be enough space to get your hand in there to operate the disconnect, but as others pointed out, it looks fine.   Please share if you get an actual inches

I'm meeting him tomorrow. He tells me it's too close but I can't get him to tell me what an acceptable distance would be. It's totally insane. I was pretty sure there was nothing in the NEC about this specifically, but I wanted to make sure before I asked him to cite a code reference in his

I've looked through Article 110 and even UL listings for GE disconnects and there is no specific code of reference to minimum space about the component (other than typical working space requirements). Ask your AHJ to point to a code reference... On Wed, Mar 11, 2020 at 4:42 PM Jeff Clearwater <

Looks fine to me, Jason. Did you ask him to cite a particular code rule? Only other issue would be is if either of those pieces requires more space in their install instructions/Mfgr specs. Good luck Benn Kilburn SkyFire Energy 780-906-7807 > On Mar 11, 2020, at 10:18 AM, Jason Szumlanski

Hi August, These IQ based micros will not work with the legacy, positively grounded Sunpower modules, but these will work for expanding to those systems. Cordially, Nick Soleil Enphase Energy Senior Product Manager (707) 763-4784 x7267 // office (707) 321-2937 // cell Powering What’s
