Well, non-isolated transformer-less inverters have their own problems
that can make common-mode EMI worse actually than isolated.
There are special (and patented) design techniques to reduce thi
Jay,
I was grappling with this same question just yesterday.
My inclination is to avoid overpowering the inverter so as to reduce heat and
hopefully prolong the operating life of the electronics.
That said, I was hedging toward using the IQ7A for some 335W LGs when I double
checked the inpu
Hi all
For those working with Enphase.
How hard are people recommending pushing the DC/AC ratio?
Enphase has some pretty convincing data that even a 400 watt module on a
240watt inverter has very small clipping vs annual production
Given that why would i recommend to a customer the IQ7A at 3
Hi All,
I’ve got a old sq D model QOC 40MW225 SERIES L7
I can’t find any literature on it.
I’m just trying to confirm that the buss bar is rated for 225 amps?
Anybody have some data or know where to find it? So far I’ve struck out.
thanks

I would think if the devices meet the tested Class B spec then no
advantage. Engineers can design filters for the Class B requirement. The
radiated RF may be different between two identical specced inverters of
different topology. Even that can be designed in, if there is a requirement
