Yes, for sure UF would work. But I was wishfully thinking there was an
alternative cable for using Enphase's field wirable connectors. Type TC
12/2 cable is pretty identical to Enphase's DG cable from what I can tell,
but it does not carry the -ER designation. On the other hand, I don't
really see
Fronius Galvo can be positively grounded. But the instructions literally say to
take the factory-installed fuse (neg to ground) and install it between positive
and ground “outside the inverter.”

The Midnite Solar Classic Controller used to be able to be positive
grounded. The Classic 250 can do five 60 cell modules in series.

MPPT. It has a positive ground option and it worked well. Scheider now has
a 100a Mppt version BTW. Pretty easy way to solve it and add batteries. Use
a Radian also if the FM100 can be negative grounded.

Hi Louis,
As Marco mentioned, this is a pain point for long term SunPower "friends."
First, we are still able to source isolated (transformer based) inverters
through SunPower. I think the last few we got were SMA Sunny Boys. That
seems like your best bet. I believe Enphase has a device that can
Argh...this is an ongoing, as in years' long, pain point with my long time
SunPower friends.
They've been looking into a device that would go between the old style
non-Maxeon cell module strings and TL inverter that would effectively
dissipate the polarization charge every night. And we've been

I have a site with satellite internet. it's router would not recognize the Mate
3s or an eguage monitor. I used a Verizon data sim card / jetpack with a
repeater to create a Lan connection and all is fine for 9 months now.
