Wrenches,
Here is my situation: GT string inverter - 3 strings of mods, 10KW DC. We need
to reduce the PV when the grid is down as to not overload the AC coupled
inverters.
Is there a good way to limit PV input like shunt off some power or short part
of the array? (part)

Hi
I have an inspector requesting info on Surrette 5000 series batteries. I have
told him they are dual container and that there is not a listed enclosure for
them. In fact I see no mention in the code book about requirement for a listed
enclosure, only that the tray must be able to resist acid.
Hello
Does anyone know if the One Stop Cop shop in Colorado Springs still repairs
inverters? I just spoke with a client who may need an AC board for an SW.
Maybe best to just upgrade him to an OB! The SW will start the genny
automatically, but he must stop it manually. (AC board has the relay

They are using the 2011 code, so we should be good.

Wrenches,
Since the XW6048 calls for a 60A breaker to feed the inverter input and we are
connecting back to the load side of a 200A panel is this correct.
6000รท240=25X1.25=31.25A. We cannot exceed a 30A breaker? Help me understand
this.

We have installed 3 Systreams in off grid settings with the Whisper 500 DC dump

With news that Southwest Windpower has layed off some of its staff and that
they are discontinuing the Whisper line I wonder who will pick up the slack, if
anyone!
Perhaps Bergey will make their XL.1 in 48V.
What turbine brands can the wrenches recommend?

The idea is to limit the run time to prevent over discharge of the battery

I've wondered about this as well with our unpressurized drainback systems. My

you basically have distilled it. Not sure. I thought you would need to boil it.
Though we have had no issues with corrosion as we have had s
