The DC Solar Classics do not have Ethernet capability or the
auxiliary relays. You can tell if it's a DC Solar Classic because
there are no speaker holes
on the front cover below the MNGP display.

While I have no idea about those specific Classics from DC Solar, all
standard Classics have internet connectivity via either the MidNite
Solar Local Application or MyMidnite.

There is another possibility. I’ve seen extremely high loads with weak
batteries cause the capacitors in the CC to dump causing the breakers to trip.
One easy fix is to install more wire between the CC and the battery or a

Do you have any rapid shutdown equipment on the arrays? The only charge
controller (Midnite CLassic) that we have ever had that failed with a short
on PV Input, had the Tigo Shutdown boxes on them (TS4-AF). I have always
been curious if that failure mode was due to the Tigo signal someh
What kind of fans? And are they large? On the far end of the 1300’ run?
Sounds like hat 1300’ foot run is acting like an inductive whip to the radians.
I suggest installing ferrite cores on the dc and ac conductor pairs to
attenuate transient spikes.
