Mine died from brushes , I guess catching fire, and that was precipitated by an
oil leak on the upper oil hose. The crimp-on fitting was allowing oil to bypass
the clamp
due to oil loss I would not touch a wreck.

install that I can see. The ECOGEN is connected to an Outback Radian.
Generator has 950 hours on it before the brushes melted
