Spice Cake
1/2 cup shortening
1 1/3 cups sugar
1 cup milk
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp cloves
2 cups flour
3 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
Stir together and bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes or until cake tests done.

1 pkg. spice cake mix
1 c. chopped nuts
Beat eggs and apple pie mix with mixer. Add cake mix and nuts. Bake in greased
and floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

2 tbsp. melted butter
