Greetings,
I help end users of RedDot and therefore lack more technical backend
knowledge etc. The issue encountered in in a couple of different
projects is the disappearance of reddots. While one can click a

Any thoghts or ideas as to what might be going on would be helpful.
And, although I don't possess the technical knowledge, I can pass on

Is this a common error that anyone can identify?

Hi Jian,
Thanks for joining the thread.
I did review the source code and the anchor tags were missing. Also we
have hide unauthorized reddots checked.
Lastly, I was logged in as administrator.

Hi Gang,
After making a small change somewhere to a template on my home page,
RedDots for the open page actions on my homepage are not clickable,
and do not exhibit the link cursor when hovered over. I can of course
edit placeholder values via SmartTree and Edit Elements via Form
I should mention that in SmartEdit Mode on the bottom right corner
buttons, Edit via Form is greyed out for this page for some reason.

If you deny everything except read for pages and instances, links and

So without knowing which rights you have granted and denied for the

impossible to find the
Thats just it, the everyone group is denied everything except read!
Ive never seen this before and agree it is a very difficult to
diagnose problem. We are using CMS Version 10 Build 10.0.1.64.
It seems to be project specific, we are currently thinkinf abount
washing the project of auth packages
Try Hide unauthorized RedDots in the General Settings under Administer
project settings.

Hi,
It's hardly possible to get the problem. The page you are working with, are
there any reddots available? Can you edit fields via SmartTree? Maybe there are
detail restrictions, or any other restrictions?

Hi Betty,
this looks like a problem with restrictions. Are you logged in as an
