Similar question for an upcoming Dell Inspiron 8100 laptop. It comes with XP

shed some light on this? I'm positive I included IP aliasing. Even
if I didn't, since I enabled kernel modules, couldn't I just copy ip_alias.o
into /lib/modules//ipv4/ and do /sbin/insmod?
