I should have mentioned in my previous post that I

Thanks

I'll be installing RH 7.0 on my PC at work, on two new 47GB IDE drives.
I'd like to mirror the drives in a RAID-1 configuration. I'd also like
to mirror the root drive, but from what I gather, only RAID-0 and
RAID-5 support mirroring the root drive. Is this correct?
I've begun reading the instr
sk, which is used
when I installed RH 7.0).
2. After I got it booted and running, how do I make sure that I close all
the necessary ports?
3. Since I configured ip-masq for internet sharing, it's not difficult for
someone to use my ip for hacking, BUT, how does he do it?
Thank yo
t. If all goes well, then I will backup the data
and reinstall RH 7.0. So, how do I boot into NON
read-only filesystem??

I have a Yamaha OPL3 card and would like to set it up for Linux.
I found the sndconfig tool and it talks about Soundblaster cards.
Can anyone guide me through setting things up for the
Yamaha card

PLEASE read the Red
t the system to stop trying to load the sound driver at boot.
I will
load the 4Front driver
later using the SOUNDON script. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm looking for a XISP binary that works with Xforms .88. The ones I could
find required Xforms .86. Could someone please direct me to a site
that has one.

Disk Druid does the same thing.
Linux fdisk is apparently not recognizing this as an extended dos
partition.
Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.
