I know that Eterm randomly generates a
background image when you open a terminal. My problem is that about 50% of the

thats it, was easier than I remember, I guess the
trying to space forward one file/byte/count was messing me up

Have you mapped all your smb users to your linux login accounts using
smbadduser $LINUXUSERNAME:$WINDOWSUSERNAME
and assigned password using
smbpasswd
smbadduser usually takes care of setting the smb passwd but I have had to do
it using smbpasswd before
Also verify that your /etc/samba/smb.conf
