From all of the documentation I've found
(both from Red Hat and linuxdoc.org), Red Hat Linux 7.3 should include
the lvm utilities to support volume groups.
However, I can't find a level of lvm
that will install on 7.3, any ideas?
Thanks,

I hadn't used sndconfig as it's being deprecated
(quote the Red Hat Linux V8.0 Release Notes). Is there another way
(other than automatic detection)?

work if you use a IP address like 192.168.1.n
and a real machine name box.name.com.
The message returned was as if permission's
were wrong, not that the package wasn't installed or defined correctly.
Thanks Once Again,

What am I doing wrong? What configuration
parameter have I forgotten?

t you have created a 'Share' for the printer on the Windows box.
Remember the name of the share.
The command looks like:
smbclient //alias name (or netbios name)/share name
When you get the smb prompt, enter:
print your-file-name
When complete, enter:
quit
Thanks,
