Title: a question about shell script
Hi list,
Anybody knows how to get an input parameter list from the second parameter to the second last?
For example, if $*="aa bb cc mm nn", I need the "bb ... mm". Here, the number n may change.
Any commad like substr in Shell?

I have a box with 320M bytes memory. >From /proc/meminfo I saw my total system value is less than 320M. In Redhat 7.0, it's 313.812Mbyte, in Redhat 7.3, it's 311.43Mbyte.
Why system reports different value? Is there any method I can find the 320M

I have set up dhcp and dns servers on redhat7.2. Anybody knows how a new dhcp client
can be added into DNS record automatically? And, when that client do a ifconfig
/release and /renew, the DNS record will be updated to new IP.
