Why don't you use IMAP, but not POP3. This way, the emails will stay on the
server and you can access it anywhere you want.
I am assuming that there is not space limit on the email server since it is your
own.

It is not the right version. The one updated is vim-5.7-8.src.rpm,
and others. The one at valinux site is vim-5.7-0.6x.src.rpm

Try to look at Openssl's documentation. It should be pretty easy to get

You also need to check /etc/bashrc, ~/.bash_profile, ~/.bashrc to make sure that
path is not overwrote somewhere.
Usually, the last two should be the setting concerns only to yourself, which is
not system wide setting, such as ../ and notorious ./

RPMs from www.openssh.com/portable.html or check out rawhide.
