I am using Red Hat version 9 to build a multiple network router and
firewall. I'll need a couple of either dual port or four port 100mb
network adapters.

your DNS. If you want your DNS to be used by
anyone add:
allow-query { any; };
You may also want to only allow queries for certain zones, if so put
this allow statement in your zone section of named.conf file.

could increase verbosity on debug of named. If the same server
is requesting over and over, I might set debugging high enough and allow
it to query and see what the results are.
