2000-04-24 Thread Tony Pearson
ne2k-pci.c using the compile statements at the bottom of the source file, it compiled just fine, no messages, but I got the same error with insmod as before. Is there any way to activate this driver without going through a full re-install from the Red Hat 6.1 CD-rom? -- Tony Pearson My diary

Printer / X windows conflict

I can run all of these fancy "configurators" Red Hat provides that are unavailable from the command line? (c) Is there an "rpm" method of installing Xfree86 version 3.3.6?  The mirror site for Xfree86.org did not have any "*.rpm" files. John, I suggest you number each box uniquely, starting with .1, .2, .3, etc.  This way, if you change your mind, or need to mix the boxes around, they will still be unique. You can also try 10.0.0.x series instead. (fewer keystrokes) -- Tony Pearson mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]   -- To

Support for Rockwell 56K modem

2000-03-20 Thread Tony Pearson
.  It is a Rockwell HCF v90 Data Fax PCI modem on Com2 port 02f8 IRQ 3.  I checked the web-site of Conexant, the maker of the chip-set, but they only have Windows-based drivers. I am now limited in my ability to run Linux, if I can't dial out. Any ideas? Tony Pearson [EMAIL PROTECTED]   -
