I upgraded my Acer Extensa 502T from redhat 5.1 to redhat 6.0, and now the kernel won't boot. I can boot with a 2.0.34 kernel but not with the 2.2.5-22 kernel which comes with 6.0. It gets to the APM and then stops dead. I seem to remember seeing something about APM problems with some laptops

I recently upgraded my Extensa 502T notebook from 5.1 to 6.0 without remembering to save my old XF86Config file. [I thought it would get saved with an rpmsave extension like other config files do] Anyway, I can't locate the docs which tell what the Vertical Refresh and Horizontal Sync rates are.
