nto was setting up sound on an older 380Z model with RH 7.2 I
believe.
I now run RH 9 on a ThinkPad X22 with 512mb. I work off the built in
NIC at work and wireless with an Ornoco Gold card.

I paid for a subscription to up2date to keep my systems current, but
recently I downloaded and started using apt. I have to say that I have
been very happy with apt not only keeping the critical parts of my
systems up to date but also keeping my other apps current and resolving
any dependencies.

I have used the D-Link DWL-650 and the Orinoco Gold P/N 024205/B on my
IBM X22 laptop running RH 9 with no issues at all. Automatically
detects just the way life should be ;-)
