Good. They're great printers, even today. I wish I had one to print
out documentation.

Dear friends:
I was handled a LaserJet series II, which I am trying to make print under Linux
6.0. After printing the self test pages of the printer, I tried to make linux
work with it unsuccesfully.
I then moved the printer to a Win 98 box, loaded the drivers, but printing
failed, too.

The II might have parallel and serial ports, and you might have the serial
port enabled...
The HP site normally has the docs for the printer online in PDF format.
