I'm trying to play with the NSA selinux kernel and am having trouble getting the system to boot. The Redhat version is 7.1. When the lilo boot menu pops up it gives me a choice of "linux" (the standard kernel) or "selinux" (the NSA selinux kernel). If I select "selinux" the line "booting selin

guys, I read somewhere that Linux only recognizes 64MB RAM and that if one has more installed, then the 'mem' parameter in LILO has to be set accordingly. Can someone tell me how to check if Linux recognizes the entire memory that I have and also, how do i check/change this 'mem' LILO parameter ?

My friend has just started his installation of RH 5.0. He tells me everytime he tries to run LILO, his whole screen starts scrolling 'LO' and he has to shut off the computer. He's tried alternate methods the the HOWTO's have shown but to no avail...any suggestions??? --
