Moving from imap 2001a-15 to courier imap

I have IMAP 2001a-15 running on my system and it's fine for checking my e-mail remotely. However, this package does not appear to support sub-folders, and since I am subscribed to a number of different lists, sub-folders are pretty important to me. However, it looks like Courier IMAP supports
