dear Le, apparently, the name server recognizes 192.168.2.13 as server3.vn.ibs-dp.com as its sole identity. therefore you should be able to ping server3 with its fully qualified hostname as server3.vn.ibs-dp.com and not server3 only. would you try if i'm correct? cheers! On Wed, 2003-08-27
