You can try this package (one of mine):

They are all Jabber packages, not the JabberD server...

I have messed about with Jabber servers a few times, always installing from
source. As far as I know there isn't an rpm available, but I could be
wrong. If you were going to install it numerous times on RedHat boxes then
you could roll your own rpm, it's not that hard.
