your description, your problem is when you start playing a waw or mp3
file.

I have a dell optiplex gx1 with RH 6.1 and my computer
does the same thing. I've been in contact with the
people at dell and they told me they are aware of the
problem, but they do not know of a fix. Despite what
they told me, I'm still actively looking for a fix.
