Just a small thing, I once use
dd if=image of=/dev/fd0
bootting use that disk sometimes is ok, sometimes
failed. I use the same floppy and change the command
to
dd if=image of=/dev/fd0 bs=1k
it works.
And I ususally failled if I use cat like
cat image > /dev/fd0

Does your Tecra have space for both your floppy and CD-ROM drive to be in
the laptop at the same time? If your floppy drive is in the machine, but
your CD-ROM is not, then you need to have the CD-ROM drive in the machine
and to attach the floppy via the parallel port attachment.

I am able to get the screen where is says to install press enter it runs
through the floppy then it comes back and says insert another disk or
press any key t
