Red Hat can not release it for =7.2.
Hello,
Could you please clarify breaks binary compatibility? Does that mean
certain programs bundled in 7.2 and prior releases will not run under
KDE 3.0?

well now that kde3 is officially released
does anyone know how long (/if) it will appear as part of up2date?
or do i have to do this big an update manually?

KDE 3.0 will part of an upcoming Red Hat Linux release, but not made
officially part of 7.2 or earlier. KDE 3.0 breaks binary compatibility, so
