Why would you want motif???
You can either use QT (and by this it will be easier if you want to port it
to WIndows or Mac), or gtk-- (although it's not good compared to QT)...
BTW - you should upgrade to redhat 7.2 (unless you did upgrade the essintial
components like glibc, gcc
Please cut the crap out of your signature. It is not cute it is

I own Motif 2.0 on a recent 2.0.32 RH5.0
It works well, but randomly it starts behaving strangely:
Before windows used to get their focus by clicking anywhere inside their

Before, there was a right-button menu with an exit option. After

I am trying to compile a motif program on my linux box
(Redhat 5.1). I am getting some undefined reference errors
for libXp.so and libXm.so even through I specify both
-lXp and -lXm on the command line. Can anyone tell me
what is the intended order of the following libs?
Xm Xp X11 Xpm Xt
I tried loading up my copy of RH Motif 2.0.1 on a fresh
install of Red Hat 5.1 and no go. Several errors, so my question
is this version of course is based on libc, so is there a fix ?

I have another Motif 2.1 question. I just purchased the upgrade from 2.0
-> 2.1. The reason being that its advertised that 2.0 won't work with
RedHat 5.0 (glibc). So, I get Motif 2.1 in the mail the day before
yesterday, and THE VIRTUAL DESKTOP IS GONE! As you might have guessed,
