Hi, I have fixed my problems with the pop server and I believe I am still
having problems with smtp.
I've had iptables off and tcp wrappers open all day. I don't get anything
bounced back when I send email to the server, or any other kind of messages.
When I try to send using that smtp, it just
a list of RELAY_DOMAIN() config commands to limit relaying to us.
Is there a way to have authentication and then doing an SMTP relay in
sendmail? in qmail? In another SMTP server?
Thanks!

Currently, I run sendmail on that server. Mostly because that's what I've
used at home and I've become used to the sendmail-cf configuration tools that
come w/ Red Hat. If qmail does what we want, I'll switch in a heartbeat...
IMO qmail would be the
to limit relaying to us.

software supports it.
There have been some good discussions with excellent

Raj,
When fetchmail logs onto your ISP to check your mail, it logs onto your
user's mail box. It doesn't read the header of each letter, it simply
opens the box, grabs what's in there, and retrieves it. As such it
doesn't matter who the letter is addressed to. Fetchmail doesn't sort it,

I am trying to learn about list servs and was wondering I anyone has
recommendations as to which packages work best and are easy to maintain. I
have been reading about qmail and ezmlm, but am trying to determine whether
it is worth replacing sendmail. I have also been looking a postfix and know
