Glad you like Word Perfect 7. Since my wife uses an older Word
Perfect for her dissertation, there's then a chance she could use WP7
on Linux some day too. In general my wish is to have Linux software
that can read/write .doc (Word) and .xls (Excel) files, so that I
don't have to reboot a Win95

Love WordPerfect 7 for linux. I've tried Applixware and StarOffice, and
I've been much happier with the word processing capabilities and usability
of WordPerfect. YMMV.
