For some reason, the mgetty guys uses an asterisk
in the:
/etc/logrotate.d/mgetty
file.
Take out that asterisk.
} /var/log/mgetty.log.ttyPS14 {
nocompress missingok
} /var/log/mgetty.log.ttyPS15 {
nocompress missingok
}
