We are upgrading a repeater site and have a choice of using Micor or MSR2000 equipment. The MSR is newer but that does not necessarily mean better. Both are factory built VHF repeaters with factory built UHF basestations as link radios. Both are in pristine condition, and in the correct bandsplit

Dave, If this cable is going into a more or less permanent installation, RG-142/U should be okay- assuming that you specified that type of cable because you need the double shields. But, if you need this cable for bench use or for an application that may move or vibrate, perhaps RG-400/U is a bet
