tube Canadian Marconi UHF repeater we had in service in Fort Worth. The
station also had a 25 watt Canadian Marconi power amplifier (still have one

I have two - FC-900s and some ICOM band units that I've had for a number of

After many years, the final on our UHF Micor repeater (not a converted
mobile) has burned up.
Naturally I dont have a manual. The amp is a TLE1713 and the toasted
board is a TLE8333A.
Can a PA from a mobile be used, or is this only used on the station ?

You are 100 percent correct! That is the manual that I have as well as the
receiver board I have and it was from a PURC. My 900meg repeater is wide
band (+/- 5 KHz) and I will now be ordering the right book.

Get the DB222-E, it is rated for 138-150 MHz. When you order it, specify the operating frequency. Also, mount it 10 ft above the roof to help reduce the effects it would have on the pattern. Getting a good antenna that's tuned to the frequency makes a big difference.

We use DB420-S-440-450 on our repeaters. The DB420 work fine at 442.425
they just have less gain and SWR are very good.

Did you figure out the actual model number of the receiver board?
It should be rubber stamped on the board.
Model numbers / chassis numbers / individual circuit board numbers
will go a long way toward helping those of us who may have the
