Don't forget If you're going to order a new one,
get the "E TYPE" as the factory spec on it puts it in
the amature band. The "K", "K1", or "K2" does not spec
in the amature band.

Being a retired dealer that used to sell them to hams$1000 to 1100 is a
good price. The list price is 1500 + and we always did ham clubs at or
around 1000 including programming and alignment. They are excellent
repeaters, when I sold my business I had 18 channels of Narrow-Band UHF

Hi Joel, the typical 750 dealer cost is around
$1000.00 give or take $100.00 so when you get your
quotes from dealers you'll know who is giving you the
best deal. I would recommend Skipp's radio service
shop here in California for the best deal or at least
an honest deal. Check out his web site...
Doug, check this little controller out for your 7000

Pretty sure the CSI that he is talking about is out of business and has
nothing to do with the one with the web site now. I have several of these

if I can find the info needed.

There are various instruction manuals on the web
for the CSI (Lynnwood Wa.) tone panels. I have
some of the command list available as a gif and pdf
file on the www.radiowrench.com/sonic page.
There's a small bit of history included on the

Hi,
Our repeater has had a dual-band (2/70) corner reflector sitting at our
repeater for about 9 years now. No real problems to report.
We are only at 1000ft, and the antenna is only about 20ft above group, but
the area does get hit with high winds. Have not had to do anything to it
over the time,
Somehow I managed to lose the charts Russ was so kind to share. Can
someone send them to me or place them in the files section?
Thanks,

I have a
Arrow 440 Mhz. corner reflector that I am using on a link with good
results. It works about as good as the db reflector which is at the other
end of the link. Physically not as stout as the db so I wouldn't mount it
high on a tower or use it on a mountain top.

Has anyone ever hooked up a link to a Motorola R-100 repeater? I'd
like to use a Maxtrac or GM300 as the link radio reciever, but need
to know where and how it could be done. I'm not familiar with this
model repeater and as I know it is old, it still works great.
Thanks in advance.

I must agree with Doug. There is very likely an unfavorable load
presented to the PA, and it manifests its displeasure by burning up!
