As long as you are using 1 antenna system for TX and another antenna system
for RX then that will work without a duplexer, if you follow a few
guidelines. First, you have to use gain antennas (not 1/4 waves verticals).

Hello John,
Thanks, I am convinsed that the highest repeater is the Pikes

Hi all,
If any of you radio builders out there have built the NJQRP DDS
board or any Analog devices AD9850 based project, you probably
noticed right away, as I did, that there are very few ways of
controlling the AD9850 DDS chip On the fly.
I just wanted to share with the group

Mind you, the graphs on that page are from the tube TX days, when
transmitters were cleaner. You might need a little more isolation
than the graphs show, but they and the text will give you some ideas.

Hi Eric,
I'm not trying to start a flame war here, but was just wondering (for
personal reference) why you chose the Micor over the MASTR II?

Hi
I'm thinking about putting 1 or 2 bandpass filters on my repeater
receiver...got some desense. System is: MSR 2000, VHF 2 meter,
about 50 watts out of the duplexer, 1/2 in hardline, 1/4 in hardline
jumpers, el cheapo antenna (I know, I know), stock pre-amp, etc.
Question is:
1. Is
I knew this question was going to surface, and was going to comment
on it in my initial post, but figured I'd not start a battle!
Honestly, I have always been a Motorola person (you are either GE or
Moto), and my other repeaters are all Motorola. I also have a ton of
spares, so it is easier
Hello All,
I am looking for the Maxtrac control head for the Maxtrac. I need two (2)
B-6 or B-7's to up-grade two trunk only control heads so we can use then on a
927 Ham project. I am told that we can make any band work for this project.
Please contact me direct with what you have.
I would assume that any winter time servicing of radio equipment/antennas
requires a helicopter for transport, and some big shovels to dig down to a
building entrance door.
Great picture!

Hey guys.
Any way you can get direct discriminator audio off the Icom RP4020?
Time to replace the controller and make the audio sound awesome.
Any ideas?

You've peaked my interest. Are you running two antennas with this
beast, or are you duplexing, If, so what kind of duplexer?

Question for you: How many watts ERP is your repeater
putting out? What type of antenna will handle 330

The duplexer would be worth more than the repeater! Has anyone
priced a new VHF duplexer lately??? Ouch!
