Hi Jim,
I'd ask Fred Flowers. He has a method that is likely a bit more labor
intensive than the normal "solder wires to the backplane" trick that he
says gives better audio performance.

Gentlemen:
rather than speculate ad nauseum about where you can acquire replacement CRTs for your monitors a suggestion.
try a company that services them.

Yes, you do only have half of the "System". You need the handset cradle
portion of the control end (not the controlled end) 510 mentioned
earlier. Without it, you are SOL.

Hatachi. Anyone have one of these puppies in there junk box? Just got off
telephone with Aeroflex a few minutes ago about my IFR1500. Whew, those
people are something else. They have had posession of my IFR1500 l
When the time comes, there will be LEDs going in and NOT light bulbs.
They're nice units and VERY repairable but I swear that Cushman must have
employed elves on the assembly line and had a sadist as the engineer.

What if .. You just come up with a PL Tone that was an
oddball say somewhere around the 200 range ? would this keep the
coordinators happy ? or are they still interested in the interference issue
?
just my 3 cents worth ( price increase due to

I don't know if this one TV CRT rebuilder is still around, but that would
be a 1 in a million unless you got to Dayton Hamfest or some other HUGE
hamfest.

Hello to Kevin and the group:
I have a MASTR II UHF Repeater that I am making into a HUB for my
repeater system to replace the existing hub which is a converted
mobile. My Question: Becaause this is a repeater, is there anything
special I should do to interface my NHRC/4? I intended to remove
Jim, I agree.
After looking the complete list and discovering most of the stuff
I have no interest, the complete lot would assist crowding my
already fairly loaded garage.

Contact Daniels in Victoria, BC Canada. They are very helpful. They
have a toll free number :)

They shyed me away from a similar purchase a few years ago, as there
were huge mods required to squeeze it into the ham band. Their
modules are usually goo

I don't think you scrolled all the way down-he's selling quite a pile of
stuff for that $5K, including antennas,
With frequency spacings that close (only 25 kHz away), you won't have any
problems as far as desense goes, but you WILL need to run multiple-stage
isolators to prevent IM. Concidentally, the 3rd harmonc of 147.39 is
442.17, but that shouldn't be a problem since that's near your UHF Tx
frequencies
Anyone know of a cheap replacement CRT for IFR 1500's? I've more or less
retired my 1500 because the CRT has gotten so dim, but still I prefer the
1500's spectrum analyzer over my other SM's (HP 8920B's) so I'd like to
rejuvenate it at some point.

There are two versions of the scope module, the 301 and the 301A.
