Yea, I know it's off topic, but this group is pretty smart about making
unusual things work.
Has anyone here ever made a Sloper antenna for 10 meters?
That cable part number was changed to 3083560A02, and was later cancelled
and is no longer available from Motorola.

If you look at the RIB schematic (see the RSS page here) you will
see that it's tip positive and that all three sources are wired together
through diodes - the power jack, the 9v battery and the external
power pin (from the radio cable - a lot of mobiles like the Spectra

Ok, who is looking for a collection of Motorola / GE and RCA

Time and materials - you had to diagnose and repair
the customer's incompetent "repair" - they need to
replace the fuse with an identical one, not a
"better" one.

Personally I would bill the client and under problem discription write

Anyone remember the P/N for the extended local control cable
that Motorola sold for same purpose?
This was a balck jacketed 7 conductor wtih audio lead shielded ( brown wire )
Also had Green, black, yellow, red, etc. around 20 ga to 18 ga
Anyone have any ideas where to get this type of product?

Two-way Radio Customers often replace their own fuses when something
causes their unplanned departure. Often a dead car battery jump start
can be the source of a radio/equipment fuse vacation.
Can anyone Please tell Me What the Rating and the Polarity of the
Center pin is on the Motorola RIB RLN4008B , Tired of worrying if
the 9 volt batter gets weak while reading the radio .

PS I will not tell Big M who gave me the Info Ha Ha

Look at the "Antenna Systems" page at repeater-builder. There
are detailed drawings on several, and someone handy with hand
tools shouldn't have a problem building one.
