Still can't own an amateur frequency, but you can own a STATION.

Has anybody ever found a "cookbook" setup for this. I have a pair of 2600's,
and the VIC-2E/Ms, and NM-1's, but it seems my IOS version is 12.3 and won't do
it, plus, IOS, while fairly intuitive, has so many crankhandles that I get lost
in the setup.
It seems that while the hardware may be rea

Very relevant. DTV "Channel 7" may not be on RF channel 7.
Didn't 'sponders have contacts on them. Or am I confusing them with other
vibrating devices found in radios that are my age...??

Except the DTV rules were hatched by Bill Clinton's FCC, Bush was
running Texas at the time.

GAWD!!I had a pair of these MANY years ago, late 60's as I recall.
What garbage. REgen receive, same osc for transmit, freq adjusted by
bending two copper plates toward or away from each other.
As for TV shows, saw them also in "Hogan's Heros" being used as
the "listening device" when bugging

My Ebay account was hacked a few years back. The way you get it back is to
contact support there, and they will call you at the phone number on record
to verify. But you initiate it all, not them. And I don't remember a SSN
ever being used with Ebay.
Are you actually not able to get int

The Micor is a solid radio. I've worked on many over the years. The
channel element generates the RX injection, plus or minus 11.7 mhz
(IF) and THAT, in turn, is mixed with the transmit exciter which
operates by a (ususlly) single crystal of 11.7 mhz (simplex), 16.7
mhz (+5 mhz offset),

I can only speak for WIVB and WNLO there, but as far as I know all of
the Buffalo stations were alocated UHF digital channels, and all have
elected to stay on UHF.
The decision to stay UHF, go VHF, etc depended a whole lot on the end

You may be surprised. Mexico is going DTV as well. I just lost a
translator allocation in New MExico because it was close spaced to a
Juarez DTV station.

Any IFR 1100S gurus out there?
I have one with a problem, head scratcher, tho I may have been looking
too long now and missing the obvious.
Problem:
On low freq, under 5 mhz there is an unlocked condition that the
spectrum analyzer and receiver see, but lock light stays solid during
this. Go
These days no reason not to use PL. Leaving a radio open is inviting
intermod and all kinds of crap. PL keeps stuff nice and quiet.
Never did understand why people put up repeaters without PL. And, no,
Texas has a pretty good official coordinating body. But it was
recently decided to require t
On the repeater-builder web site I found a link to LBI's and noted that
one was needed for ET60/59. I scanned one this evening, and wanted to e-
mail it, but the web site is unavailable and need to know who to e-mail
the file to. It is comprised of three pdf's and a bit over 3MB total.
