I am new to repeater building I have a GE Master II VHF repeater does GE make or is there a mod to make the exciter do  35 watts so I would not have to use a PA which I do have, just trying to make things simple. Any input would be greatly appreciated.   Thanks, Greg K9GJN

: Wednesday, January 6, 2010, 2:45 AM   No. You need the appropriate power amplifier to get the desired output. The exciter makes less than one watt.   Chuck WB2EDV       - Original Message - From: Greg Niles To: Repeater-Builder@ yahoogroups. com Sent: Tuesday, January 05, 2010 9

AM    Oh, and since you sound like you are new to this list, don't use LMR or 9913 type coax in duplex service. This topic comes up here every couple of weeks.   Chuck WB2EDV - Original Message - From: Greg Niles To: Repeater-Builder@ yahoogroups. com Sent: Tuesday, January 05

2009-12-31 Thread Greg Niles
I am assembling a VHF 2 meter repeater for our local club using a GE Master II base. I am in search of a compatable controler and duplexer. Anyone with parts I would be interested. Also any tip hints would be appreciated.     Thanks, Greg K9GJN
