I was considering a similar project using packet. Specifically, by keeping a transceiver open on a out-of-band frequency. Alternatively, maybe use the same input frequency to monitor for either a tone burst or packet data for upgrade. If detected, have the repeater switch into packet "upgrad

Anyone have any experience using one to remotely program or do software changes on controllers via an RF link of some kind? What type was successful? Thanks NB2A
