I had a set of 220Mhz homebrew duplexers made out of copper pipe that worked better when I did NOT lock down the rod after adjustment. This avoided the problem of the threaded rod pulling the plunger up and down during heating and expansion. As long as you didn't subject the cans to any sharp

Hello Dave, If you really want tears in your eyes, I was in Wacom's Plant a few years ago visiting - they were about 75 km from my home, and they had the entire packaging and testing area filled with 70mhz duplexers - They had a contract to provide duplexers to a European Lottery operator, and the

Hi Steve, I would be very happy to empty the beer barrels of there contents! Seriously though there is a company in the UK that make filters out of barrels but they only work down to about 68MHz due to the lengh. I have a set and they would make an excellent 70MHz duplexer but we don't have 4M

Before we get too far into a discussion of what metals *can* be used to fabricate a duplexer, on 6m or on any other band, we should perhaps consider what metals *should* be used for that purpose. If we examine the basic differences between cheap duplexers that drift all over the place and become n
