Yeah I wouldn't have expected the bandpass filter to help with this. Does it happen when the TV is tuned to a certain channel? All TVs have a local oscillator. But even if it turns out to be the local oscillator, it probably will not be easy to fix or even reduce. Laryn K8TVZ --- In

This might sound too simplistic, after reading some of the other responses. Is the TV grounded??? A lot of them just have a polarized AC plug, not a grounded (3-pin) plug. AND, along the same lines, is the AC outlet grounded??? I've found several 3- pin grounded outlets in our house that
