Sounds like a rather complex repeater needing 2 of each, are you using the uhf for a link? If so you would want to use a 3 or 5 element beam and not a omni-directional pair. It is very hard to beat folded dipoles like the decibel 224 on 2 meters, there are other outfits making similar stuff and abo

Chris, The best answer to your question is: "It depends." First, it depends on where the repeater will be in relation to the desired coverage area. If it's more or less centrally located, then an omnidirectional antenna is the obvious choice. However, if the repeater is at the edge of the cover
