Here in IL, MERCI (Medical Emergency Radio System in Illinois) radios are VHF and had 8 selectable tone reeds in the Micor Systems 90 control heads. I'm not sure how they have it set up now - maybe a different "Mode" for each various PL tone / freq combination. Mark - N9WYS _ From:
