The R2600 is a fine service monitor for analog applications below 1000Mhz. If you're looking for a monitor that can be upgrade for digital audio applications then the R2600 is not for you. Spectrum Analyzer seems limited in its abilities, won't sweep the entire range like the 8924C does, If I remember the max step size was 5 or 10 MHz per division. Also certain 26xx's have the stuff to do P25, may be desirable for you but the price of the unit usually increases 3-6dB.
