Inserting a line in automatically mutes the mics

I use one of these to capture.

Then I transfer the files to PC via a USB lead.
File can then be edited as required.
It's far less painful than recording direct to computer.

You can trial it for 30 days, and there are no restrictions for the
duration of the trial.

I transcode FLACs from my server to AAC @ 320kbps to my Smartphone's
32GB MicroSD card for portable music.
I've got no complaints about quality.
Agree about Foobar - it's a very powerful media player/processing
tool.

Running 7.4.2 on Windows XP and it will not play 24/44.1 ALAC files. The
FLAC files of the same tracks play just fine.

in SBS.
SBS will play 24/44.1 FLAC natively - personally I'd just stick with
that instead of converting the files.
Nothing that hasn't already been said before.

I have a number of SACD/CD hybrid discs, and have had no issues at all
ripping the red book layer on any of them.
Looks like a hardware/firmware/software problem.

TBH I'd stop the rip now and try the other drive.
I'd lay odds that it'll do the job in less than 10 minutes.

Could you elaborate on this ?
I could of course be completely wrong about this - it wouldn't be the
first time and most certainly won't be the last.

got a solution for this or do I just skip replaygain for now?
Just skip the replaygain thing Phil.
I had issues with flac.exe not working with 24 bit files - I unticked
the replaygain option and it worked fine.

to convert the downsampled wav files to flac in dbP
- just dig around in the settings.
You can also use flac.exe to convert wav to flac and back again

Did you use the Wizard to optimise your settings for EAC ?
Have you entered your email address in order to access the online CD
database ?
What format have you ripped your tracks in ? - flac is best !
