The .pl script is written for Windows and Linux. Here's the source http://robinbowes.github.io/flac2mp3/. It's rather old, and I don't think the author is still around here. But it was working fine on my previous server box. Nothing about the directory structures has changed. Incidentally, when

Hi there, I have recently tried to get Robin Bowes' old perl script working again, having moved to a new server. I am getting the error shown below. Can anyone make sense of this? I have put copies of LAME.exe and FLAC.exe in the FLAC2MP3 folder, as I thought the problem was with the paths

Hi all I've recently upgraded my server to Windows 7, and can't get flac2mp3 working again. The command line comes back with 'flac not found at C:\Program Files\flac2mp3\flac2mp3.pl line 193. I've installed ActivePerl, WinLAME and FLAC, but it still doesn't work. Any advice welcome!

created a batch file in Notepad called flac2mp3.bat which just contains the text: start flac2mp3.pl M:\Music M:\Lossy\Automatically Add to iTunes. I saved this in the same folder as flac2mp3.pl, and then set up the task scheduler to run this batch file. -- neilcoburn
